Recollections for women
Monthly days or evenings of recollection provide time for personal prayer and reflection on different aspects of Christian life. A recollection typically lasts two hours, set apart from your busy work, schedule and family life, to recharge your spiritual batteries. It usually starts with the rosary, followed by a meditation by the priest, personal time for spiritual reading, a short talk by a lay person, a second meditation by the priest and finishes with Mass on the Wednesday mornings and benediction on the Tuesday evenings. Between meditations a priest is available for the sacrament of reconciliation.
Recollections are held on the first Wednesday of the month from 10:30am to 1pm including Mass and the second Tuesday of the month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm including benediction.
Whilst there is no charge made for the recollection, morning recollections include lunch and a donation would be appreciated.
